No problem. I am also proud to be one of a limited few notaries who are authorized by the County of Monterey to issue a Confidential California Marriage wedding license - where no waiting is required. The marriage license will be issued on the spot. And, I will mail in your completed license and give you a notarized copy.

Who am I?
Kathee McFarland, a non-denominational licensed wedding officiant and wedding planner. Owner of Carmel Weddings, established in 1981. I was born and raised here in Carmel. Discreet, poised and appropriately reverent, I help couples marry in an easy, approachable atmosphere.
I can perform any type of ceremony you would like - the possibilities are endless and I am here to help guide you to the wedding of your dreams. Whether it is on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, in a beautiful church or garden, or in some other magical, mystical place that the two of you have discovered and want to make your very own, I can help.
I have several styles of wedding ceremonies for you to choose from; and you should feel free to change, rewrite, or add to them to make your ceremony your very own. Some couples prefer to write their own vows; I encourage couples to do this as it sets the tone for uniqueness and individuality within the marriage. You are special and your ceremony should reflect just how special your love is.
